Blade Runner 2049 review – a gigantic spectacle of pure hallucinatory craziness I agree with what "Peter Bradshaw" has to say about Blade runner 2049 and I think his review on the movie is well thought out. His review, however kind of spoils the movie to people who have not seen it. Blade Runner 2049 review – a future classic This review basically spoils the whole movie. However, I can see that "Mark Kermode" knows his stuff because he has showed that the movie has referenced with other movies and he can explain in detail about the aspects of the movies that are similar. ‘I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe’: what Blade Runner 2049’s dystopia tells us about 2017 This review by "Steve Rose" is well thought out and does not spoil the movie. It briefly explains the aspects of the movie and explains what parts of the movies connect with the conventions of the genre but does not spoil the movie. I can tell that this person knows a lot about t

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 opening credits. The opening scene is taken in worms eye view. However, it is also taken in a long shot because you can see Groot's whole body. This is also a establishing shot because whilst he is dancing, you can see the background and the setting. The camera zooms out so when a character is talking, they can see the whole body of that character. At 1:30 it is a medium shot because you can only see groots waist. It then moves back to the long shot. The whole scene is shot on a dolly. The angle would be low angle because it is fairly low and it is also slightly aiming upwards, showing the chaos behind Groot's dancing. The camerawork gives the audience hints on what is happening in the background and show's the chaos whilst Groot is contently dancing, it also show's that the characters that are fighting know groot but are too busy to stop him from dancing because they are busy. The camerawork also show's how they are fighting a bi

moonlight movie review.

To summarise, the movie "moonlight" is about a boy named Chiron who grew up in the ghetto and is mocked for being homosexual or acting homosexual, for him to grow up in the hood is especially hard. At the time, his mother was very harsh on him and she knew he was gay. She would always take drugs and i'm pretty sure she was a hooker. He also did not have a father figure until a trapper came along and became his father figure, he helped him swim, fed him, made his life a lot better. At the time he also made friends with a boy named kevin. When he was older, around 15-18, Life was even more difficult as his mother was addicted to drugs more and she would take money from him. He had to cope with being gay and his life was difficult in high school, Kevin and Chrion were very close and the ended up having feelings for each other. There was one boy named Terrel who was more harsh against him than the rest of the people in the class, he would always bully him and even made Chiron

Media Awards - Tasks

My 3 favourite films from media awards: MRS POTATOHEAD: I enjoyed watching this short music video/film because the video showed a deeper meaning that the song was synonymous with. The music video also suited the lyrics of the song and the clip went accordingly. The clip that showed the acapella of the 4 girls singing was really interesting too as it made them seem like they were the person actually singing. EARTHQUAKE: I really liked this one because of the time and effort he put into making it. The video suited the lyrics of the song except for the part where I was in it because when we were recording it. he just asked me to do whatever and I didn't know how it ended up untill he showed me the video when his assignment was due. What I enjoyed the most was when I was recording him with the camera and he thought of a really good idea to move the camera in sync with his hand which makes him look like he was controlling the camera. The cinematics were really great too. CLI

my media consumption.

Newspaper Q:Which daily newspapers (if any) do you read? A: I don't really read any daily newspaper but I get my sources from everyone else talking about something that has happened or I sometimes stumble upon news posted on social media. Q: What sections of newspapers do you turn to first, and why? A:I don't really turn to any section of newspaper and when i do read a newspaper i just flick through it. Q: What sections do you never read, and why? A: If there's any sections that I do not like to read it's news about celebrities because I just find it boring. Q: What kinds of stories do you usually read and why? A: I don't read any specific stories, I just flick through the news and if anything interesting pops up, I read it. Q: Do you, or someone else, buy the newspaper you read? A: I don't read newspapers but my mom and dad do but they only read newspapers that are free for the public such as metro. Q: Do you look at t

How many hours do you spend online in an average day? Is this too little, too much or about right? Why?

I think I spend around 6-5 hours a day on weekdays which I believe is way too much because, majority of the time, that's the only thing I do apart from going to school, sleeping and eating.

What is your favourite ever TV series?

My most favourite TV series most definitely has to be Rick and Morty, even though the series hasn't finished and I haven't seen many other TV series, I strongly believe rick and morty is the best.

What was the last film you watched?

The last film I think I watched was captain america: civil war and I know this is kinda old but I don't have the time to watch a lot of films

What media sources do you use to find out about news and current affairs?

I use instagram and youtube to find out about news mostly, and I do appreciate the fact that others spread news over social media because it really does reach those that do not want to go on mainstream news outlets.

What do you think the biggest media story of 2017 has been and why?

I think that the biggest media story of 2017 is pewdiepie saying the N word on live stream. This is one of the biggest media story of 2017 because pewdiepie has the largest amount of subscribers on youtube and a large sum of people were watching his stream as he said it, for him to say that word shows how he has made the biggest mistake ever in his career because the damage is permanent. But then again, he did apologize and tried to show everyone he did not mean to say it which shows he has earned some redemption more or less.

What are your current thoughts about your next steps after A Levels - university, apprenticeship, work?

I honestly want to do apprenticeship or take a gap year straight after I finished sixth form because from apprenticeships, you can earn money, experience and a qualification  whereas university only offers qualifications and maybe some experience but I have changed my mind about things before so who knows, maybe in the future, I might go uni instead.

What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media?

I really hope to achieve at least a B, anything less is disappointing because I believe I should have enough skill to pass and achieve better.

Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)?

I did not take GCSE media studies. However, I completed a task for my media teacher to prove that I am have enough skill to take on A level media.

Why did you choose A levels media studies?

I chose A levels media because it correlates with my passion for youtube and its a bonus to get a extra A level in media if i manage to pass
